Valve Cover Gasket

Does your car leave a trail of oil droplets on the road when you go for a ride? Your engine may be experiencing an oil leak. A possible oil leak should never be ignored. If left unresolved, this problem could lead to extensive engine damage. The first thing you must check if you suspect that you have an oil leak is the valve cover. Your valve cover is devised to serve as the stopper for the valve trains. To make sure that your engine does not leak oil, the valve cover must be snug and tight. Once you verified that you do have an oil spill, one of the things you must check is the valve cover gasket. This is a tiny piece of rubber located between the top of the cylinder head and the bottom of the valve cover.
